Hi all, Tom Wurster and I re-found the continuing female summer tanager at the arboretum this morning. It was in the same vicinity as originally reported by Kathy Degner, but was a few yards to the north today, high in a macadamia tree at 10:48 am. If you continue north past the bottlebrush tree and the "Serpent Trail" sign (where the bird was previously seen), there is a turn-off to the east leading to the greenhouses. Opposite this road is a beehive low in a Victorian Box tree. The bird was moving around and feeding in the macadamia and berry trees just above and behind this tree. The beehive may be a good stakeout spot. Naresh -- Naresh Satyan Pasadena, CA
