Birders, [Given Yahoo Groups issues, I dont expect most people will see this for hours or days, if ever] Becky Turleys eBird list from Leo Carrillo at 5:00 to 5:30 pm yesterday (7 August) indicates that the Nazca Booby (which strayed without documentation into the U. S. from Ecuador, Colombia, Mexico or.) was captured and taken to a rehab facility around 5:30 by a Marine Mammal Rescue team (yes, I know a booby is not a marine mammal just passing along the information). So the bird is no longer available for viewing at Leo Carrillo. This news would have been useful last night, but again Yahoo groups just hasnt been working. Kimball Kimball L.
