Common Tern (black outer web of outer rectrices easy to see, hard to photograph in flight)among the multiple Forster’s Terns at Puddingstone Reservoir/Bonelli Regional Park, around 5:30 p.m.Good looks at it, but no photos. I scanned
all over the reservoir for the Neotropic Cormorant, but no. There was afemale Purple Martin at the weedy, scrubby patch of trees between the jungle trail and the grove of tall eucalyptus at the far eastern of the north shore parking. The eucalypti there
were hopping with warblers, and a Lawrence’s Goldfinch.
